Everything you need to know about playing, and winning, The Health Lottery.

Where can I play The Health Lottery?

Visit a Health Lottery retailer (there's 40,000 of them!) or you can play online.

At your retailer simply buy a ticket and register your numbers on a Playcard. You can buy tickets just for this week's draw, or for up to eight weeks in advance.

How do I play The Health Lottery?

It’s easy to play and only costs £1 to play each line.

For each line, choose five numbers between 1 and 50.

If you can’t decide which numbers to choose ask for a Quick Pick ticket (or press the Quick Pick button if you’re playing online) and let the random number generator choose for you.

Choose the number of weeks you want to play.  You can buy tickets just for this week’s draw, or for up to eight weeks in advance.

If you want to play your favourite numbers every week, visit your Health Lottery retailer and collect your Playcard which can be activated at the retailer, online or by texting the 11 digit number on your Playcard to 63450.

You Can play in store at your local Health Lottery retailer or online at www.healthlottery.co.ukRemember to check that the number of weeks and numbers are the ones you wanted. And that's it! You've entered The Health Lottery.

Keep your ticket tucked in away in a safe place, and in good condition, so when it's time for the draw you know where to find it.

Bigger prizes

Sometimes, just for fun, we double the top prize. That means if you match any 5 balls, you win up to £200,000. That’s huge!

When is the draw?

The Health Lottery draw is shown every Saturday night on ITV and Channel 5.

How do I know if I've won?

Tune in to the TV draw and check your numbers as the balls are drawn. You can also check the draw results online, ask your Health Lottery Retailer, look them up in the Sunday papers, or just call us on 0844 375 55 55**.

If you've matched any 3, 4 or 5 numbers drawn you're a Health Lottery winner.

I won! Now what?

It's time to claim your prize, that's what*.

If you’ve played online and matched any 3 or 4 numbers you don’t need to do anything else. Your winnings will be paid directly into your account.

3 WINNING NUMBERS: A LOVELY £50

If you've matched any 3 numbers grab your winning ticket (you can't collect your prize without it) and head to any Health Lottery retailer. All our retailers are authorised to pay out £50 prizes. If you’re lucky enough to have won more than £50 you need to call the Health Lottery Helpline on 0844 375 55 55**.

To collect your £500 prize just call the Health Lottery Helpline on 0844 375 55 55**. Health Lottery retailers can't pay out £500 prizes, but they can check your ticket to see if you're a winner.

5 WINNING NUMBERS: UP TO A WHOPPING £100,000

Health Lottery Complaints Procedure

We want you to enjoy playing the Health Lottery; providing excellent customer service is important to us and in the vast majority of cases this is exactly what you will receive. However, just occasionally, something goes wrong and a customer, unfortunately, has cause to complain.

In the first instance your complaint should be registered with us by calling 0844 375 55 55 where a member of our Customer Services team will endeavour to address the issue and resolve the query immediately or, if you prefer, you may write to us at the addresses shown at the bottom.

If an immediate solution cannot be achieved because further investigation is necessary, we will let you know straight away.

Should our investigation take longer than anticipated, which will only happen if the circumstances are particularly complex, we will explain why and we will make sure you are provided with regular updates. We will not normally allow any complaint to be unresolved for more than 4 weeks, as we will always agree a course of action with you within this time.

Any investigation will be overseen by a specially selected and trained staff member who will stay in contact with you throughout the investigatory period

In the unlikely event that you are still unhappy with how your complaint is being handled or resolved, we have in place an escalation procedure which means that you can request the involvement of an appropriate manager by writing to us the addresses show at the bottom.

If at any time you are unhappy with the progress or outcome of our investigations, please do not hesitate to contact the staff member handling your complaint.

If, at the end of this process, you still remain dissatisfied with the outcome, we offer the option to request referral of your complaint to an independent adjudicator for further review and investigation.

They will consider your complaint totally impartially and we are bound by their decision. The request for referral should be made in writing

We do hope, however, that your complaint will have been resolved much earlier and you will not find it necessary to take this action
