100 Million Tea! Local Met Simon Cowell - The Health Lottery
The Health Lottery held an afternoon tea at London’s Savoy Hotel on Tuesday 30th October, to thank many of the projects that we’ve supported for their vital work – and to celebrate raising over £100 million for good causes across Great Britain! Glamorous TV presenter Lizzie Cundy was one of the stars in attendance, and Lizzie was kind enough to record the video above for us. Sit back and enjoy as Lizzie meets up with our guest host Simon Cowell and other attendees!
On arriving, Mr Cowell noted that “even briefly downstairs when I walked in, I’ve met five or six people who said [their] charity wouldn’t exist without what this has done. When you meet the real people and they tell you themselves, that means something.”
Mr Cowell also said that he was missing The X Factor stalwart Louis Walsh on this year’s series, suggesting that “he can come back next year as a contestant!”
With your help, we can raise even more funds for good causes in England, Scotland and Wales. Share this video, and let's spread the word!
