Raising funds for Charities in North Scotland: HealthKind and The Health Lottery

Don’t miss out on the chance of winning up to £100,000 and the opportunity to help health causes in our area!

Money raised by HealthKind CIC supports fantastic causes in North Scotland. Money raised through The Health Lottery is taken directly where it’s needed most in our community.

Since our first draw, more than £1.6 million raised by HealthKind CIC has supported these vital causes in North Scotland.

Where does the money raised by HealthKind CIC go in our area?

Money raised through The Health Lottery supports great ideas and health initiatives which wouldn’t otherwise get funding. It’s backed local branches of Alzheimer’s Society, The Conservation Volunteers and Royal Voluntary Service – which helps older people get out and about, to everything from social events to hospital visits.

That’s as well as funding local causes that help improve and connect communities in North Scotland. These are local groups and projects which don’t receive other funding, but provide important services.

Causes supported in North Scotland using money raised by HealthKind CIC include:

  • £49,888 to For the right reasons to provide volunteer placements for local people
  • £33,600 for parent, baby and toddler sessions with Barra Children's Centre
  • £35,450 to help bring the villagers of Portree on Skye together with Crossroads Care, Skye and Lochalsh
