HealthRich CIC raises money through The Health Lottery to help fund health-related charities  in South Yorkshire, delivering funding to projects at the heart of your local community. Grants are made by the People’s Health Trust, a registered charity that works specifically with HealthRich CIC to distribute money to good causes in our region.

Where does money raised by HealthRich CIC go in South Yorkshire?

So far, more than £1.5 million raised by HealthRich CIC has supported important charities in South Yorkshire.

Money raised through The Health Lottery has helped support local branches of important charities like the Royal Voluntary Service,  The Conservation Volunteers and Youth Sport Trust. 

It’s also giving funding to local initiatives which wouldn’t otherwise exist. These are projects which provide opportunities and training, give support where it’s needed, and keep people active.

Causes supported using money raised by HealthRich CIC include:

  • £31,000 to provide social opportunities at the Burngreave Tenants and Residents Association
  • £21,926 for a women’s conversation club with the Rotherham Ethnic Minority Alliance (REMA)
  • £36,798 to run activity sessions for children with Rotherham United (Great Millers) Youth Forum
