HealthAmaze raises money through The Health Lottery to support projects and charities at the heart of communities in Leeds and Wakefield.
So far, more than £1.4 million raised by HealthAmaze has been allocated to important charities in South Yorkshire.
Where does money raised by HealthAmaze CIC go in our area?
Money raised through The Health Lottery has supported Leeds and Wakefield branches of the Royal Voluntary Service, Sustrans and Youth Sport Trust.
Money raised by HealthAmaze CIC has supported great local initiatives which benefit people of all ages. Money is being used to help vulnerable young women from Leeds develop skills with the Getaway Girls. It’s also backed Moor Allerton Elderly Care, which supports people living with dementia.
Causes money raised by HealthAmaze CIC has supported include:
- £40,993 to support local older people at Richmond Hill Elderly Action
- £24,410 for running sessions for parents and children with Featherstone Rovers Foundation
- £20,050 to a weekly group for women with Leeds Gypsy and Traveller Exchange
