Tackling health inequalities in Mid Scotland

Don’t miss out on the chance of winning up to £100,000 and the opportunity to help health causes in our area!

HealthGift CIC raises money through The Health Lottery to support good causes in Mid Scotland. The money raised is taken directly where it’s needed most in our community.

Since 2011, more than £1.8 million raised by HealthGift CIC has supported vital causes in Mid Scotland.

Where does money raised by HealthGift go?

Money raised by HealthGift CIC through The Health Lottery supports great ideas and health initiatives which wouldn’t otherwise get funding. It’s supported local branches of the Sustrans, Carers Trust and Royal Voluntary Service.

That’s as well as funding local causes that help improve and connect communities in Mid Scotland. These are local groups and projects which don’t necessarily receive other funding, like Fife Parkour Coaching, Boomerang Community Centre and CLEAR Buckhaven.

Causes supported in Mid Scotland using money raised by HealthGift CIC include:

  • £16,562 to support young people at the Boomerang Community Centre
  • £13,138 to run rambling sessions for disabled and able-bodied people in Forth & Tay
  • £28,837 to develop a community garden with Hawkhill Community Association
