Health Lottery West Midlands

More than £9.4 million has been raised by Central Health Equality CIC operating in Health Lottery West Midlands.

Health Lottery West Midlands is a trading name of Central Health Equality CIC, licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 29814.

The Health Lottery has raised money to tackle various community issues in the West Midlands – including parents with disabled children, carers for people with Alzheimer’s and local asylum seekers. Funding has also been granted to various activity groups promoting sports, wildlife, ICT and the creative arts. These causes include:

  • £12,191 to Bell Green Silver Surfers, an older people’s IT class in Coventry that supports members to make friends and learn how to use email, smartphones, tablets and social networks
  • £68,294 to Royal Voluntary Service, who support the Local People project in Biddulph, Staffordshire, to identify local barriers to their lives and their health and make their town a better place to live
  • £40,598 to Interact Arts CIC, who run arts and crafts activities for young people and adults with learning disabilities in Stafford
