Aylesbury woman wins 10k charity windfall

An Aylesbury woman has shared her surprise and enormous delight having won a phenomenal ten thousand pounds with The Health Lottery.

Kathy Brown, a Buckinghamshire Council Business Support Officer, won big by playing The Health Lottery’s draw online. Amazingly, this is the second time she has won a tidy sum from The Health Lottery, although her recent winnings dwarf the £250.00 won previously.

Big hearted Kathy says a big reason she plays is to support local causes and community projects: “In this day and age I think it is very important to support The Health Lottery and all the charities it supports.”

She also told us that although she will enjoy spending much of her winnings herself, she will make sure her daughters benefit too, selflessly spreading the joy to her familiy.

Managing Director of the Health Lottery, Martin Ellice, said: “We are always happy to hear from winners and even happier when they are supportive of the great community work we help fund. We wish Kathy all the best and hope she enjoys her winnings.”
