How are lottery draws carried out?
The winning numbers for each £1 Big Win lottery game draw are determined by using an approved random number generator (RNG) to complete lottery draws. The RNG is a digital programme which is able to select the five unique main lottery numbers and the bonus number between 1 and 50. When a Big Win lottery game draw is carried out using the RNG, the operation is also captured on video and audio for audit purposes. The Health Lottery RNG also meets the Gambling Commission’s required technical standards. The All Or Nothing draws are carried out in the same way.
The Health Lottery’s QuickWin game is a live lottery draw every three minutes. These draws are carried out in real time by our RNG which is programmed to run on a continuous cycle 24 hours per day, seven days every week of the year.
How can I claim my winnings?
Online Players:
If you’ve played online and won up to £2,000 your prize will automatically be paid into your online wallet. Funds can then be withdrawn at any time.
If you have won £2,000 or more, you will need to complete a simple prize claim form. Please call The Health Lottery Helpline on 0330 3902289 (calls are charged at local call rate) where our team are on hand to support you. They will help you with arrangements to collect your prize and anything else you need to know. Please allow 14 working days to complete the claim process and for your funds to reach your bank account.
Direct Debit Players:
If you’ve played by Direct Debit and won up to £2,000 your prize will automatically be paid into your online wallet. Funds can then be withdrawn at any time.

Playing the Health Lottery
To play The Big Win game, five numbers between 1 and 50 are selected. You can either chose your own lucky numbers or use Quick Pick to have the numbers selected for you by our random number generator. Our random number generator will select five numbers and a bonus ball at random - the more numbers you match the more you win.
What prizes can I win?
Our £1 Big Win game has prizes ranging from a free ticket for matching any two numbers, a guaranteed £10,000 for matching four balls plus the bonus ball and a minimum jackpot of £25,000* for matching five numbers
In addition, every £1 entry into any Wednesday or Saturday Big Win draw automatically gives you an entry into an additional free prize draw for £100,000 which also takes place on these days.
The five numbers you’ve chosen for The Big Win draw on a Saturday or Wednesday are automatically entered into the appropriate Free Prize Draw. Our random number generator will select five further numbers at random – players matching five numbers in the free prize draw will qualify for a prize and there are no lower tier prizes associated with matching any other numbers.
