£25,000 jackpot for George!

George Nicholls, 49, has won our 1 February jackpot! Grimsby resident George receives £25,000 – a big surprise to him, as he originally thought he’d “only got four main numbers and the bonus number!”

Check your tickets with a fine-tooth comb, everybody…George was recently made redundant from his job, and is disabled with mobility issues. “I haven’t kept too well recently, so this will really help me get through the next few months,” he told us.

“To start with, I am planning on getting a new sofa and chair. But I also want to make a donation to a couple of charities."

George will give part of his winnings to Children with Cancer, and to Scope – as he wants to continue making others smile.

For George, supporting The Health Lottery seems to be a no-brainer!

“It supports so many great causes – why wouldn’t you?” he says. “I am still in shock, but I can’t tell you how happy I am.”
