Enter The Health Lottery and support charities in Merseyside

You could win up to £100,000 with the Health Lottery – and do you know that when you play, you help fund charities in our area?

HealthFit CIC raises money through The Health Lottery in order for it to go to where it's needed most in Merseyside, raising funds for projects at the heart of our community.

Where does funding go in Merseyside?

So far, more than £1.5 million raised by HealthFit CIC has supported local charities and projects in Merseyside. The money was awarded to these projects and charities as grants by People’s Health Trust, a registered charity that works specifically with HealthFit.

Money raised through The Health Lottery has supported local branches of important charities like Youth Sport Trust, The Conservation Volunteers and Sustrans.

Money raised through The Health Lottery is also helping in funding local initiatives which wouldn’t otherwise exist. These projects are run by people in our neighbourhood who want to make a difference, whether it’s by creating a community garden or setting up IT training sessions.

Causes supported using money raised by HealthFit CIC include:

  • £30,460 to help train skills like gardening and furniture renovation in Bootle with Safe Regeneration Ltd
  • £21,222 to create a youth centre with Sutton Manor Active Community Hub
  • £49,000 to provide activities for local people at Speke Training and Education Centre
